Battery compliance is where producers, importers and/or distributors of primary and secondary batteries have taken all the necessary steps to comply with the essential provisions of the European BATTERY Directive and Waste Regulation. To ensure battery compliance, manufacturers must design and manufacture their products in accordance with the technical requirements of the battery safety standards.
